When i opened up these two images i just couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear.  This is Mr. A who is all of 3 months old.  Just look at that smile… baby grins make my heart smile.

When i first opened my doors to met this family, i was faced with the mama.to.be, S.  I couldn’t believe just how gorgeous this soon-to-be mom of 3 was.  Then walked in her two boys, T and L who had faces that looked like they belonged on kids magazines.  Then daddy A, walked through, who was just way beyond cool.  I really couldn’t believe how each one of them were so stunningly beautiful.  Really.  Daddy A (who will forever be know as ‘Andrew’ to me) was such a great sport too, letting S and I pose him for some images and letting me call him ‘Andrew’ to my heart’s content.

S and A, i can’t wait to meet your newest addition soon….

It can’t get any cuter than this….Newborn baby love  at 14 days old….Mr. T. is stylin’ with his TOO cute faux hawk.  i was just lovin’ his hair.  i photographed his big sister miss V  two years ago on her 1st birthday.  It’s always a treat to see how much my little clients have grown.  Isn’t she gorgeous??  If you ask me, i think these two make a beautiful brother/sister pair…

Congrats R & V….T is a handsome addition to your family…

After months years of stalling, i’ve finally created a CCP Facebook Fan page and a CCP Facebook Group.   Thanks to one of my wonderful clients, michelle for making me realize i’ve been procrastinating for way TOOOOOOOO long and for making me get my butt in gear!  lol.

Remember this gorgeous couple? They welcomed their baby girl into the world a few days ago.  She was the youngest babe to come into the studio in quite some time.  Little miss E at 4 days old.  Such a gorgeous babe with a head full of hair!!  Dad had to head out west for a few days so we rushed to get her in….She was born at 7 lbs. 11 ozs — if we waited to have the session when dad returned, i’m sure she would have tipped the scales past 8 pounds in a matter of days. She was such a good little girl and oh sooooo sleepy.  At 4 days old, i was just lovin’ all her newborn goodness.  Congrats J & J ~ she’s beautiful.

The studio has been quite busy with an abundance of newborns lately.  Unfortunately, there are so many newborns and not enough time to share them all….  Sometimes i get asked why their child hasn’t been featured on the blog.   While i would love to blog them all i must admit — i must be one of the worst bloggers of all time — that’s me…blog slacker.  i promise…if i haven’t posted a sneak-peek of your session….your gallery will be all-the-more worth-the-wait.

**If you are expecting, please contact me in advance. Remember :: it’s NEVER TOO EARLY to book your Newborn Session. Within my schedule, i always reserve a few spots for last-minute newborn inquiries.  Lately, i  have been getting lots of them and my ‘reserved last minute newborn slots’  have been going  rather quickly these days.  Many times i have parents call me when they’ve already had their baby or when they are a few weeks away from their due date and unfortunately, sometimes my schedule doesn’t allow me to fit them in.  Although i make every effort to see every newborn that i can, sometimes, it just isn’t possible.   if you know me and how much i love newborn baby love, i hate to turn any potential newborn client away but sometimes i have to.  Not only are the parents disappointed but so am I  — i HATE turning newborns away.  Please, please, PLEASE….if you know you would like to book a Newborn session with me, call me or email me in advance to avoid disappointment.

Meet the B family. This is my second time working with sisters C and C. When their mommy contacted me to book another session she told me that her BIL and SIL from Ottawa were hoping to book a session too. So we had one big cousin session!! The weather didn’t cooperate with us that day so we had to have most of their session indoors but i think it still worked out beautifully!

I know the B family has been waiting for a sneak-peak for awhile. Thanks so much for a fun morning :) . It was great seeing you again N & Y– your girls are just as gorgeous as i remember them! To M & D: thanks so much for traveling down from Ottawa…i loved photographing your little cuties M and N!

I haven’t posted an image of a collage in awhile. They are usually custom requests. Occasionally, i will show one in your gallery. Collages and storyboards are custom creations that feature a few images and most often include some text. It’s a beautiful way to highlight a few of your favourite images from a session by showcasing them together in a grouping like this…

Meet Baby T.  such a handsome and alert little man!  He was 14 days old at his session and was such a good little boy.  He didn’t cry once but did manage to give mom and i a few laughs that afternoon!

Hope all you wonderful mothers out there had a very Happy Mother’s day!  Hope your day was full of kiddie kisses and baby hugs….

My day started out with yummy pancakes, strawberries and whipped cream served in bed.  yup.  served in bed.  drooling yet?  i guess no one needs to know that it was my little munchkins that got to enjoy it!  they got right in there with me under the covers and helped themselves….and even though the thought of enjoying that breakfast all by myself in the quietness of my own room tickles my fancy for a whole two seconds….i’d much rather be snugglin’ up with my little monsters feeding them while we watched their favourite channel, Treehouse.

My favourite newborn images with parents is most definitely skin-on-skin.  They make beautifully classic portraits that last a lifetime.  Not many opt for it but when they do i get so excited because the results are absolutely breathtaking.

Meet Miss L.  She gave us quite the run-around the morning of her session.  For the first 45 minutes, me, mommy and daddy were doing some lots of diaper changing cleaning.  Little L is 6 days old here and other than the tiny setbacks, she was the perfect little model.  Her parents just adored her and i could tell were so in love with her already.
