We have had a good time off enjoying the simpleness of the holidays, with no schedules and enjoying a completely relaxing time with the kids, catching up and recharging with friends and family. The studio is officially open again and we’re getting back into the swing of things. If you have emailed me or called the studio in the last 4 weeks, we will be contacting you shortly as we make our way through the pile of emails and calls we’ve received over the holidays.

you were an absolute dream to photograph. you didn’t fuss at all and slept the entire time. that is exactly how i remember your brother when i photographed him at his newborn session. look at how big and proud he is sitting with you….his sweet little sister….

It’s amazing to watch as parents fit into their new roles so effortlessly. i could tell from every word that was spoken, from the way they talked to their little boy, the way they gazed at him while i worked away and the way they held onto him to comfort him that they loved everything about being his mommy + daddy. Little Benton …. the day you were at my studio, your parents filled up the room with an overwhelming amount of love….for you.

This family is one of my.favs. They are so fabulous. seriously. I first met them a few years ago when they came in for a maternity session. Now….c’mon…are they not jaw.dropping.stunning?? then i photographed their first baby’s newborn session: miss Ella. Out of that newborn session, i photographed one of my ABSOLUTE all time favourite images. Hey…i love it so much it even graces my blog banner. i love the contrast in that image….sweet, tiny, baby girl gracefully sleeping on daddy’s big, strong arms. Their baby girl grew and came in for a mini session at the beginning of the year….and she is just as gorgeous as her mama. Can you imagine how excited i was when shortly after that mini-session, dad contacted me to give me the heads up that they were expecting baby #2?

See for yourself just how sweet their little girls are…..seriously….this family is a photogenic dream.
