Miss M….so full of adventure. She had quite the audience the morning of her session. An audience who she had wrapped around her little fingers. We were so captivated by her…swaying to the beat of Britney in her leather jacket and sassy tutu. Uncle B , Auntie L and Gran had a lot to do with bringing out her ’sweet’ personality. Sweets for the sweet 
. Let’s just say that after the session, I’m pretty sure that Uncle B was right up there on Miss M’s ‘Most Favourite’ list along with Barney and her puppy.
We just sat back and watched this little gal adventure and explore the studio and all its props. Her curious little mind, so ready for the world. There is so much to see Miss M and the world is is yours….

These are some of the little ones that i had the amazing opportunity to photograph since i reopened after the holidays. Little ones, big ones, they all have their own personalities beginning at just a few days old.
Miss S. My first newborn of 2010. Fiesty and oh so strong…yet so very delicate.
Miss A. at her 6 month session was full of smiles.
Miss C. Absolutely and most definitely the biggest little ham yet. Wait till you see her gallery and all her adorable faces. i just puffy heart the one of her and her baby.
Miss M at 1 Year old was full of poses infront of the camera. LOVE her mom’s vintage rocking chair from her own childhood.

This has got to be one of my favourite ages – 8 months. Actually, anywhere between 6 and 9 months is so much fun. This age brings lots of smiles, unbalanced wobbley sits, lots of rolling and drool and a whole lotta outfit changes….and they can’t get away from me to boot! Mr M sure is a mini-me of mom and dad — lots of character and sporting the super cool threads. we were able to capture a variety of images cause mom came super prepared with different hats, jackets and outfit changes. C’mon….just look at that smile….he’s definitely a heartbreaker in the makin’.

Just a little bit of housekeeping here. There has been so much going on in the last month i haven’t been able to keep up with this blog. The year is quickly coming to an end and i’m frantically working on holiday orders, fall sessions, lots and lots of newborns and preparing for another Holiday show.

This young family was too cute for words. i just adored their little boys D and L who were super fun to play with. I went up to their cozy home in Barrie and their backyard was just a treasure of afternoon, adventures just waiting to be explored. What a perfect place for two little explorers to grow up. We walked logs, jumped off logs, picked acorns and played hide and seek until we it was time for me to go. I love meeting my clients for the first time and especially love it when i feel like i’ve known them forever. This session was one where mom and i chatted the morning away and played with her boys. i’m so very blessed to have this job that seems like more playtime than actual work . Thanks J and B, your family is just beautiful.

On a couple of side notes, i have gotten quite a few emails asking ,’Do you still do family photography?’. The answer is YES!! Although i specialize in newborn and maternity photography, i still do family photography as well as on-location photography. This is my busiest time of the year for family sessions. Fall is very popular for those gorgeous fall colors but it seems like mother nature was been quite unpredictable lately. We were so close to canceling this session due to rain but thought we’d take our chances. Good thing we did cause it didn’t rain a single drop that morning. We lucked out with this family but unfortunately because of this terrible rainy weather, i’ve had to reschedule 4 sessions in the last 6 days. Hopefully today’s sunshine is the beginning of a gorgeous fall…
i have 2 more time slots remaining for the Mini-Sessions so if you’d like one of them, be sure to send me an email as i expect them to go quite quickly after this announcement.

Meet Miss A. i swear, aren’t her cheeks the yummiest??? Here she is at 8 days old. Born about two weeks early while i was away in Florida, i tried to get miss A in as soon as we could. Her big brother N was one of my baby planners and i did his newborn, 6 month and one year photo Portraits. Here they are together. I think mr. N is fitting into his big brother role perfectly.
