I love the mood of this photo.  I love capturing moods and emotions through my lens.  Taking photos is easy but being able to use your camera and its settings to convey a mood or a feeling is what being an artist is all about. This is A and C’s first.  I find first time parents are always so full of energy.  At 37 weeks pregnant, C looked beautfiul.  I am amazed at how this woman moved with grace  — and she did it all while laughing and smiling.         

A few more sneak peaks….It seems that i photograph kids with the most amazing eyes.  Have you ever noticed the sparkle in your child’s eyes?  These are the white highlights in the eyes, created by a reflection of light.  Often times, the sparkle is rarely noticed but once  you become aware of it – you just won’t be able to get enough!  Here’s a little tip:  when photographing, keep your eyes on your subject’s eyes while they are moving in the light.  Once you see those baby blues (or browns) shine -shoot!!
