{Studio News :: Spring update | Durham Region and Toronto Photographer.}

The studio will be closed for a few days from Wednesday February 25th to Monday March 2nd, inclusive. All email and voicemail inquiries will be responded to upoon my return. If you are a current client and are due during this time, please call the studio at 647.400.6538 upon your baby’s birth or drop me an email at info@cherrycortez.com .

I am currently booking into April and May so if you know you would like to have a photo session done, please contact me as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you signed up for my email newsletter (link is up at the top menu ), you were one of the first ones to find out that we had a Call for Newborns who are due in April and May!! The call was for newborns who would match certain criteria based on the artistic visions that i had brewing in my head. I was soooo overwhelmed by the response. Thanks so much to everyone who showed interest and who filled out the questionnaire. CCP has already contacted and selected the lucky expectant parents but i can’t just turn you all away, now can i? So…..if you responded to the casting call and filled out the questionnaire but weren’t selected, this special is just for you:

OMG….i am soooo very excited to have a new niece. This little gal is my brother and SIL’s third child. Two amazing little boys and then they were blessed with this sweet pea. Here she is at 6 days old. She came 3 and a half weeks early so let’s just say that i wasn’t really prepared for her! Nevertheless, we managed to pull off some sweet photos of her and all that hair. i think she has more hair than my youngest girl — and she’s almost a year old! LOL! Welcome to the world little Megan. We love you so very much

I photographed this little cutie when she was a newborn and she came back to visit me at the studio for a 10 month session. She definitely had stranger anxiety at the beginning of the shoot but was all giggles when daddy started making his grunting noises .

I’m so behind with my blog and i’ve missed some sneak-peeks for some of you so this week i’ll be trying to catch up!

I know this couple is waiting patiently for their gallery! Meet this beautiful couple, V and G. They are expecting their first in a few weeks. Aren’t they just gorgeous? V had a perfect little belly and they were both willing to try anything and were so fun to photograph.
